Whilst the majority of positions advertised in the mining industry tend to attract those with formal qualifications, there are still a large number of opportunities for those who are unskilled. A large number of those that are looking for mining jobs tend to become too concerned with the issue of experience, and thus, fail to follow through with the application process. Dont make this mistake. There are plenty of positions available within the mining industry that support those who aren’t qualified. These include kitchen hands, assistants and cleaners. Whilst these roles may not be ideal, its a great way to get into the industry, and then look to move into different areas.
