I like to do mosaic crafting with tiles and broken pottery. My cousin works in custom tile work and they give me all the scraps. I have five full thirty gallon trash cans full of tile scraps. I also pick up cheap dishes from yard sales and I either smash them up or cut them with nips. With the tile or glass pieces I like to cover old toy chests, small stands or shelves and whatever I can get my hands on basically. I have run out of things to make mosaics out of so my husband is going to build me some bird houses. I need to get bird house plans first though.
