According to Bloomberg, bonds could be the next big “bubble” that will hurt investors and investment returns for so many people who are getting into this asset class. While bonds are surely a mandatory piece of any well balanced portfolio, it seems investors really need to ensure that their bond funds do not over expose them to this asset class, especially over the coming years and months when it is largely expected that bond funds will suffer as a result or climbing interest rates. While they are a necessary evil in light of what the future holds, they are still necessary, so tread carefully.
