Once I was startled when a couple of uniformed police officers came knocking at my front door. Then I was relieved when they told me they were selling tickets to a local fund raiser. I bought one, and went to the show. It was a magic show, where the magician showed how to do all his tricks. I’d never seen magic tricks revealed before, so I was amazed at how simple most of them were. I don’t know about you, but I like finding out how things work, and I was amazed that I couldn’t figure them out earlier. But I guess that is why those guys are the people doing the magic, and I’m just the guy watching the magic. And as an added bonus, the police department raised plenty of money for their cause.
