College Invention Assignment
In college, we were given an assignment to invent something that would improve the way we recycle. At first I didn’t know what to do, but the more I thought about it, the more it my idea took on a life of it’s own. I completed my project and got an excellent grade on it. My professor was so impressed with it that he encouraged me to get a patent on it. At first, I didn’t really consider it, but eventually I realized he was right. Why should I let someone else make money off of something that I created first?
